Information Technology Technician 2 Job Announcement
One Full Time position available ~ Open Until Filled
SUMMARY
Provides first contact support, dispatches, monitors and communicates statutes of IT request. Primary responsibilities and job functions are included in Job Description which is available in Human Resources upon request.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years experience in information technology field required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• A+ certification required.
• Ability to type 40 WPM.
• Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
• 1 year experience working on IGT Advantage software preferred.
• 1 year experience working on Micros and Micros Fidelio software preferred.
• Background in Microsoft technologies including Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Network+ certification highly encouraged.
Strong knowledge of networking devices (Switches, routers, firewalls).
Strong knowledge of peripheral devices (printers, copiers, FAX).
Strong knowledge of data communication protocols and diagnostic tools (TCP/IP, telnet, Ping, Trace route, NSLookup).
Basic knowledge and/or experience with telecom technologies (cell phones, desk phones)
Knowledge of client connectivity and remote access tools.
Knowledge of EIA/TIA communication standards.
This position is subject to drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY & RESTRICTIONS
This position has no supervisory requirements.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
• Work is subject to frequent and prolonged sitting, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Work occasionally involves working in confined spaces.
This is a 24/7 operation that may require on-call or overtime.
WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office environment with occasional exposure to noise common to gaming environment.
Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
