SUMMARY
Responsible for various Accounting Department activities and monthly closings as directed by the Accounting Manager. Primary responsibilities and job functions are included in Job Description which is available in Human Resources upon request.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or a minimum of three years of accounting / bookkeeping experience required.
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment required. Must include Excel.
Excellent database management and record keeping skills required.
Effective oral and written communication required.
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality required.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Excellent analytical skills required
Casino accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge of FAS 100 Fixed Asset Accounting software preferred.
Knowledge of MAS 90 Accounting Software preferred.
Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
Must receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
Indian preference will be observed in the hiring process.

• Oversee and advise Accounting Clerk & A/P A/R Clerk.

Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
