SUMMARY
This position specializes in repair and maintenance of all kitchen equipment. Primary responsibilities and job functions are included in Job Description which is available in Human Resources upon request.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Working knowledge of propane fired cooking equipment.
-Prefer Certification in HVAC specifically including walk-in & reach-in refrigerators, freezers and atmosphere controlled storage equipment. Brands to include: True refrigerated cabinets
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Must possess a valid drivers license.
-Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English.
-This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing and criminal history background check which may include fingerprinting.
-Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
-Must receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
-Indian preference is observed in the hiring process.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY & RESTRICTION
-Access to sensitive areas as determined by Executive Chef and/or Director of Facilities.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
-Must be able to methodically diagnose electrical & mechanical malfunctions of kitchen equipment.
-Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
-Must be able to be stand for entire shift.
-Able to move up to 100 pounds for lengthy periods of times.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
-Exposed to cold environments as low as 0 degrees.
-Exposed to hot environments as high as 85 degrees.
-Exposed to smoke, dust and noise.
-Must be able to work in all indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
-Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
-Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
