Three Rivers Casino is proud to be an Oregon Indian casino, run by the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians. The joining of our Indian ancestry and our passion for the local community and land is part of how we thrive as a casino and as tribal members. Let us explain some of our history as a tribe, and how it has led us to the Three Rivers Casino and Hotel.
Our tribes’ ancestries can be traced back to the South-Central Oregon coast. Formed in 1916, the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians were finally federally recognized in 1984 after years of lobbying for such recognition.
We are committed to honoring our ancestors while guiding younger generations to thrive in the community as well. In doing this, we promote the success and growth of both the tribal and non-tribal communities in Oregon. Our priority is to take responsibility and care for the land, so we can meet the needs of tribal members through establishing tribal lands, too.
Our relationship with the community is key to the success of all Oregonians, including those who are tribal members and those who are not. Three Rivers Casino and Hotel is one of the largest employers in the region, bringing jobs and revenue to the local economy.
We have found other ways to support the community, too, like with our Community Cash program. With community cash, people are rewarded for shopping locally. Not only does it benefit local businesses, but this program also supports non-profit organizations and the local arts scene.
And of course, we constantly encourage people, Oregonians or otherwise, to visit the beautiful town of Florence, Oregon, and enjoy all the best things the Oregon coast has to offer.
Beyond all the local landmarks, shopping, beaches and parks you’ll find in Florence, you’ll also find one of the main enterprises of the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians: Three Rivers Casino and Hotel.
Our Oregon Indian casino has over 700 games, including slots, tables, video games and more. If you enjoy poker tournaments, look no further: we host weekly poker tournaments like Big County Saturday and the Sunday Showdown among others. Plus, the casino has a unique progressive jackpot called Flash Cash, that is guaranteed to pay out before reaching $1,000, meaning you have a great chance of winning in that game alone.
All of this is housed among 90 deluxe rooms in our hotel. And we’ve partnered with other local businesses to bring you hotel packages with golfing, horseback riding and helicopter tours.
Come see the land that our tribe has worked so hard to restore and preserve, and stay at an Oregon Indian casino during your visit. For more information about the casino or to book your stay please contact us today.
