    You'll begin by riding on a trail leaving the corral that takes approximately 25 to 35 minutes to get to the beach. The trail will take you out through the scenic dunes and through the coastal pines. As you get closer to the beach, you will hear the powerful Pacific Ocean waves pounding the surf and you will smell the incredible salt air. Suddenly, you are on the beach for a breathtaking ride along the shoreline.

There are two miles of sand dunes between the park and the ocean. Two natural freshwater lakes are within the park.     Sand Master Park, the worlds first sandboard park, located in beautiful coastal city of Florence, Oregon USA. Beginner to advanced slopes, bowls, cliffs, jumps and rail slides and a 40 foot cushioned ramp, centered on 40 acres of private sand dunes and surrounded by 200 acres of public dunes and forest.

    We also offer sand sculpting and dune buggy tours!

    Follow highway 101 to the north boundary of the city of Florence. Sand Master Park is just north of the 'Fred Meyer' store on the west side of highway 101.

    Sand Master Park is open 7 days a week from May 15th - October 1st
    6 days a week October 15th - May 15th, closed on Wednesday.
    The Pro Shop is closed for the winter January 10th - March 1st.

  • Sealion Caves

    High on a rocky, windswept bluff 11 miles north of Florence stands a small white building. It perches on the edge of the slope, which drops off abruptly to the Pacific Ocean below. A large sign across the top of the building tells motorists coming from north and south along U.S. 101 that this is "Sea Lions Cave." The sea lions take refuge for nine or ten months of the year.
